Wild Flowers & Plants  in Borrowdale, Keswick,The Lake District

Having successfully won a grant from the Borrowdale Story committee I will be having an 

exhibition of 12 paintings of Borrowdales temperate rainforest wild flowers & plants. 

at Grange Methodist Chapel Summer 2025.

I have thoroughly enjoyed completing my 12 drawings working mostly in situ in all weathers from a base at Borrowdale YHA, at different times of year, to capture different flowering plants & funghi. I am particularly passionate about capturing through painting the intricate detail & importance of the unusual plant’s growing in Borrowdales Peat bogs. 
 

Harrogate Autumn Flower Show 19th-21st September 2025. Exhibition stand of Drawings, Paintings, hand made Lino Prints & cards. In the Homes & Gifts Pavillion stand H2. 
 
Currently working on a booklet of my paintings of wild flowers & plants in the Lake district to follow on from the Borrowdale story grant along with descriptions of walks & stories made whilst painting on location on the fells! 
 

Summer , Autumn 2026 Exhibition in the Grantham Room at Newby Hall & Gardens . Dates TBC.
